PCA (Personal Care Attendant)

Personal Care attendants provide Personal Cares to assist clients to remain as independent as possible in the comfort of their own home. Care include, but are not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring/positioning, housekeeping and socialization.

27 year old male looking for 3:20-7:30 p.m. Monday through Fridays to help with G-tube feeding. Client is Mostly non verbal ...Some signing...Great memory....Communication- uses “Talk to me” technology-similar to IPad, is able to sign basic needs or talks, but may be difficult to understand. Mom states he's at a 3-4 year old level. His interests include: Family, music, Barney, Bear in Bldg Blue house shows/ Toy Story movies, DVD’s, socialize with others, play on air guitar-would love to be a rockstar, great dancer... is Able to walk short distances.

Client does get home at 3:30... staff needs to be there just prior. End of shift time can be flexible-If you are unable to commit to 7:30 thats negotiable.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Elk River, MN 55330: Relocate before starting work (Required)
