P&C Insurance Producer/Admin

Are you an outstanding P & C Insurance Producer looking to join a successful company in Mishawaka?

In this position, you will service existing small business accounts, provide support for producers to facilitate new business growth, and retain existing clients.

REQUIREMENTS

• Provides daily customer service to existing customers, documenting all conversations in the agency management system.
• Discusses insurance needs with customers and advises them on proper products to meet their needs.
• Coordinates renewals of existing accounts with producers, suggesting additional coverages.
• Negotiates terms and premiums with underwriters and has the authority to bind coverage on behalf of underwriters of various insurance agencies.
• Works with producers to quote their prospects and the various insurance carriers to place the business.
• Must maintain a license in good standing with the IN Department of Insurance.
• Must complete all compliance training related to the position.
• Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.
• Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Five years' experience is preferred.
• Risk management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of agency management and carrier rating systems.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
• Ability to work independently to achieve sales goals.
• Attention to detail.

LICENSES
Insurance designation started; Property & Casualty license
