Purpose:

Assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the PC Desktop Support functions and duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help prep and support desktop deployment.
• Ability to triage basic user PC issues, including but not limited to, being unable to boot, recovering files, troubleshooting software and connectivity issues.
• Enable prep/support of endpoints (desktops/laptops) while following OSUP processes for inventory/asset assignment and recovery.
• Services to includes unboxing, prep, imaging, labeling and removal of packing material.
• Recovery and recycling of outgoing hardware in accordance with OSUP IT department policies.
• Ability to perform functions using job-related software and systems.
• Travel may be required to different locations as required.
• Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements: High school diploma and/or equivalent. Part-time or full-time University or College level student status required. This position necessitates a minimum of 8 – 12 hours per week.

Preferences: Pursuing degree in IT or related field, and/or experience working in healthcare and/or in Information Technology
