Job Summary and QualificationsTo professionally and efficiently answer and connect all calls to the areas requested. To assist all business/patients/staff in a professional manner while assisting in the daily operations of the Communication Department. This position requires knowledge of hospital switchboard procedures. Frequent interactive associations and some clerical tasks are required. Locates interpreters as needed using the Language Bank roster or language line. The ability to communicate information in an auditory or visual fashion is essential. The ability to use 2-way radios, pagers and computers is essential. The ability to maintain confidentiality of information is essential.
What qualifications you will need:- High School Graduate / GED
- A minimum of one year in Hospital Communications.
