```Duties```
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Maintain employee records and update changes in payroll system
- Calculate and process employee benefits, deductions, and garnishments
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation
```Experience```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
- Proficient in using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software for payroll processing
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll processing
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and journal entries
- Familiarity with payroll software such as Workday, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data integrity
