- Administer payrolls for all employees in the organization, including pay calculations, garnishments, calculating final termination payouts, and balancing of federal, state, and local taxes for a multi-state company, consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws.
- Administer regular preparation of relevant reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports necessary for accounting and financial statement reporting. Miscellaneous reporting duties as requested.
- Lead various year-end processing duties including reporting, taxes, and W-2s.
- Maintain and update personnel records in the HRIS system, including approval of new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and other employee record changes as requested.
- Maintain and monitor timecard entries and approvals for managers and employees on a weekly basis, and functions as a backup for managers and employees for timecard adjustments.
- Responsibility for administrative payroll functions including scanning, filing of HR payroll documents into the electronic filing system.
- Responsibility for research of new payroll laws for new IMA locations and registration of new tax entities and liabilities (federal, state and local).
- Provide support for employment verifications and unemployment claims.
- Act as primary point of communication for internal clients (Directors, HRBP’s, Managers, IT, Accounting, Legal).
- Assist associates with questions or concerns regarding payroll policies and procedures.
- Assist Director of Payroll with RSA processing and M&A activity
- Responsible for documenting and maintaining payroll team procedures and policies.
- Perform other payroll related duties and projects as assigned.
- Support and demonstrate IMA’s core values.

- Minimum 5 years of payroll or related experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- CPP preferred
- Exceptional analytic and math skills required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel) required
- Sound judgment, maturity, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
