POSITION SUMMARY:
Full Time
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to Human Resources functions as needed and assigned and assist with payroll processes for all affiliates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Assist HR department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees
- Provide counsel, advice, and training to AHC facilities in functional areas of Human Resources including employee relations, compensation, legal compliance and payroll
- Assist with the payroll function for all affiliates; including training and payroll processing
- Assist in maintenance of Human Resources/Payroll Information Systems and compiles reports as needed
- Complete appropriate forms for special wage/salary payouts and adjustments or to correct or balance a special situation
- Perform audits for accuracy of payroll and HR information
- Provide guidance to payroll processors and ensure that all federal and state wage regulations, as well as Company policies, are met
- Maintain confidentiality of all information received in conjunction with job responsibilities
- Other Human Resources duties as assigned by supervisor

Licensing/Certification/Education Requirements:
- High School diploma required
- Associates Degree preferred
Required Computer Software/Equipment Used:
- Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word
