Payroll Service Representative

The Payroll Specialist is a key member of the Human Capital Management (HCM) team and assists customers in the various activities related to initiating, reviewing, submitting, and finalizing payrolls.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Review and finalize customer payroll submissions
• Assist customers in completing and submitting regular and supplemental payrolls
• Prepare Full-Service payroll for client review
• Assist in managing internal payroll calendar to ensure timely processing and submission of payrolls
• Manage necessary payroll fulfillment tasks, as well as coordinating deliveries as needed
• Review, format, and import payroll-related files such as 401k contributions or external timekeeping reports
• Assist customers with a variety of HCM-related tasks within UKG Ready (HRIS software) such as adding employees to the database, adjusting compensation, adding deductions, etc.

Requirements

• Experience with HRIS and payroll software required; Proficiency with UKG Ready is preferred
• Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to meet established deadlines while maintaining quality assurance and customer satisfaction
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Proven strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong understanding of payroll practices and processes
• Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
