OSL (Outsourced Sales Leadership) was established in 2012 in Ontario, Canada to provide clients with customized designed sales solutions in retail, direct sales, merchandising and customer acquisition.

About the role:

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the US Payroll Manager, will be responsible for overseeing the US payroll team and the related tax compliance and reporting functions.

 

Salary: $95,000 - $115,000/year 

Contract: 15-18 Months

 

A little more about the role and responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the US Payroll across 47 states 
  • Managing a team of 5-6 staff 
  • Oversee and direct payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with all U.S laws 
  • Run reports to support payroll, 401k and benefits 
  • Support the processing of the bi-weekly payroll for 5000+ employees
  • Manage hourly payroll for US employees
  • Review processing of salaried and hourly payrolls for Canada and U.S
  • Manage and file T4s, T4As, T4ANRs in Canada and 1099, W2s etc. in US
  • Manage and file T2200s, EHT and WSIB returns

 

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of Payroll Manager experience 
  • Experience with full cycle payroll 
  • Multi-state US experience
  • ADP WFN experience
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Team leadership experience is a requirement, as this role has a leadership component
  • Advanced Excel
