Job Description
As a Payroll Coordinator, you play an integral part in supporting our field employees, recruiters, and salespeople on a designated team. This role focuses on assisting the Payroll Department with tasks related to weekly payroll processing. Your efforts will directly reflect the NCW brand while greeting visitors, solving employee payroll problems and fielding all incoming calls.
WHAT YOUR DAY MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
+ Answer and direct inbound main line calls to the appropriate person
+ Support the administrative duties of the Back office
+ On-boarding/new hire entry/employee changes (i.e. rates, tax profile, address, direct deposit)
+ Manages the registration and mailing of Rapid! pay cards to field employees
+ Assists team with all payroll issues (reaching out for verified time, calculating checks, paying out corrections or checks through WEX/Rapid!) and all back office-related questions
+ Checks to make sure employees have been accounted for and accurately paid
+ Sits at the front desk answering phone calls, helps check-in and assist visitors, and provides support to office employees
+ Helps process certified payroll reports for prevailing wage jobs
WHAT YOU’ LL NEED:
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Analytical mind with the desire + ability to solve problems
+ Ability to multi-task
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
+ Demonstrated ability to work in payroll software
+ Previous experience in administration, accounting or payroll
+ Fluency and or Bilingual capabilities in Spanish + English
+ Ability to sit at a desk & use a computer for prolonged periods of time
