In this role, you will manage payroll, health insurance, retirement and other benefits for our amazing staff. This is a fulfilling full-time, year-round position located in our Silverton, Oregon office, offering competitive pay with extremely robust benefits including employer paid family health insurance, employer paid pension and retirement plans with PERS, 12 paid holidays, 3 paid personal days, 12 sick days, and vacation. Job Function:Coordinate and perform technical and confidential payroll, compensation, benefit, bargaining, reporting and analysis functions in a timely and accurate manner in support of school district goals. Key Responsibilities:Exercise independent judgment to perform daily operations of the payroll function in a manner consistent with federal, state, and other laws, administrative direction, district policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
Manage, configure, and maintain timely, accurate, and efficient compensation and benefit data. Perform payroll processing, accounting, reporting and analysis functions within complex enterprise software systems. Manage district obligations, reporting, compliance, and payment of taxes, liabilities, quarterly reports, annual reports, ACA filings, and more.
Analyze, compile, prepare and present reports identifying financial impacts related to collective bargaining. Consult with management on confidential matters regarding bargaining policies, proposals, and strategies. Provide additional cost analysis, proposals and guidance before, during and after bargaining to guide decisions.
