Qualifications for PAYROLL & AP SPECIALIST

Accounts Payable Clerk

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a corporate environment

Reports To: Accounting Manager

GeneralResponsibility: Compiles, processes and maintains accounts payable records weekly paperwork. Payroll is semi monthly and you are responsible for maintaining hours and computing payroll checks.

Key Tasks andResponsibilities:

• Verify approval on all invoices and check request
• Coding invoices
• Familiar with in-house wire system
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and NetSuite
• Able to prepare and process checks
• Update and maintain vendor database
• Able to process and enter invoices daily
• Audits and verifies expense reports
• Reconciles vendor statements
• Ability to process and follow-up on rush items
• Maintains account payable files
• 1099 preparation
• Special projects as assigned

Skills andAttributes:

• 2-years of accounting experience preferred.
• Ability prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
• Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
• Able to meet deadlines
• Able to wear many hats
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
• Familiar with real estate management a plus.

• Strong program management skills
• iSolved experience is HUGE PLUS!!!
• Demonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Human Resources Information Systems iSolved is a plus.
