The Central Transporter is responsible for transporting/transferring patients and various assigned duties in accordance with established methods and procedures of the hospital.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High school education or equivalent required.

1. Demonstrates ability to transporting patients as assigned.

2. Demonstrates ability to clean equipment.

3. Demonstrates ability to complete job assignments by handling multiple functions.

4. Demonstrates ability to maintain and monitor all oxygen cylinders/regulators on transporting equipment.

5. Accountable for promoting positive customer relations, establishing credibility and professionalism of department and hospital by communicating clearly and effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, health care team members to facilitate coordinated care.
