We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Patient Support Specialist with the flexibility to work REMOTELY!
In this role, you will be responsible for providing inbound customer support in a 24/7 call center environment. Duties include but are not limited to answering numerous inbound phone lines, email communication, outbound follow-up calls, and system documentation.
You will:
- Answer the phone professionally and expeditiously
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Research required information using available resources
- Route calls to the appropriate resource
- Identify and escalate priority issues
- Maintain excellent notes in appropriate systems
Essential Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of previous call center experience
- Experience in high-pressure and fast-paced environments required
- Ability to work remotely hardwired into local home internet
- Ability to work weekend nights once a month
Desired Requirements:
- Associate’s or BA/BS degree
- Powerful customer focus; effective listener
- Recent pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience- e.g. Medical Assistant, Nurse’s Aide, EMT, health insurance company etc. is highly preferred
