Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, BayCare Clinic in Manitowoc is looking for a Patient Services Representative to join our team in Manitowoc, WI. We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. 8 hour shifts vary between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. No Holidays! No Weekends!

We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. The Practice:
Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is a rapidly growing, high-volume practice, providing expert care while offering diagnoses, treatment and rehabilitation for bone, joint and connective tissue disorders. Located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin across from Lake Michigan, our new state of the art facility has dedicated procedure rooms, diagnostic imaging, regenerative medicine, and multiple treatment options for all.

The Job:
- Greets and checks in patients.
- Assists patients in filling out patient forms.
- Collects co-payments from patients.
- Answers phones, takes messages, routes calls when necessary.
- Schedules patient appointments.
- Develops patient charts.
- Enters pertinent information into patient charts.
- Performs general office duties.
- Respects and maintains confidentiality.
- Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.
- A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
- Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or HealthCare Business Services is appropriate.
- Working experience with medical terminology and health insurance is preferred.
- Must possess strong desktop computer skills.
- Experience with EPIC is preferred.
- Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.
