Patient Service Representative/Front Desk

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, both in-person and over the phone
- Collect and verify patient insurance information
- Assist with patient registration and updating electronic health records
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations

Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, Dentrix, or similar software
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus

In addition, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the office by handling administrative tasks and maintaining accurate patient records.
