Duties

- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience

- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using medical scheduling systems

- Collect and update patient information, including medical records, insurance details, and demographic data

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department

- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations

- Handle patient concerns or complaints in a professional and empathetic manner

- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

```Qualifications```

- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred

- Knowledge of medical scheduling systems, such as Epic, is a plus

- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA regulations

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in using office equipment, including computers, printers, and telephones

- Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
