Dermatology Center of Atlanta located in Johns Creek, GA (near Alpharetta and Duluth), is currently looking for a Patient Services Representative, with at least 1 year of medical office experience, to join us in taking outstanding care of our wonderful patients.
As the first point of contact with our patients, our Patient Services Representative must be a wonderful ambassador of Dermatology Center of Atlanta's brand and be focused on delivering outstanding customer service with all interactions. Must be a "people person" with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Must also work well in a fast-paced, team environment and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Cross-training will be provided for appointment desk/scheduling and check-out positions as well.

The Patient Services Representative position is a full-time opportunity and responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and assisting them with check in patient registration at our check-in kiosk, when needed (we use Clearwave).
- Manage patient flow and notifying medical support staff of patient arrival.
- Ensure required forms are updated per practice protocol.
- Complete insurance verification prior to patients visit to determine coverage and benefit limits.
- Maintains accuracy of insurance, patient billing, and contact information, by entering patient demographic and insurance information correctly into our patient management system (we use Intergy).
- Assists, when needed, with scanning insurance cards and driver’s license for all new patients.
- Must understand managed organizations/payors and medical reimbursement.
- Provide information in a friendly, knowledgeable way to patients regarding the practice, providers, aesthetic products and procedures.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
- Effectively communicate relevant information to providers and staff.
- Other related administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:

- 1+ years of medical office Patient Services Representative, front desk, phones, or receptionist experience (dermatology experience a PLUS)
