Patient Service Representative

We are a premiere Dermatology Practice looking for a great employee for an immediate hire. We are seeking an experienced front office staff member in a fast-paced office. We need someone who is dedicated, organized, detailed, professional, courteous, positive attitude that can multitask and can work well under stress.

Must have excellent customer service with outstanding phone and communication skills.

Previous experiences with dermatology, cosmetic procedures and skin care products are preferred

FRONT OFFICE JOB DUTIES:

Includes, but not limited to:

• Promptly answering a high-volume of phone calls.
• Accurately taking and delivering messages to appropriate providers and staff.
• Daily faxing, scanning, and data entry
• Scheduling new and returning patients
• Maintains knowledge of all providers' schedules and restrictions.
• Patient check-in and check-out
• Verification of insurances, collecting co-payments, deductibles, and balances
• Posting daily payments accurately, generate daily report at the end day
• Physical ability to walk, lift, sit, and use a computer

EXPERIENCE:

• Dermatology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical Receptionist: 1 year (Required)
• EMR experience ( preferably EMA) preferred
• Medical Coding experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
