Form of work- Must have medical office experience for a minimum 2 years.
- Ability to sign in patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, advise patients of any outstanding balances, update patient information in computer.
- Ability to post patient information and charges incurred from requisitions and encounters, schedule follow up appointments and or referral appointments, balance your total encounter postings for the day.
- Miscellaneous duties would include pulling/filling charts, making copies of medical records; prepare correspondence for no shows and other correspondence that may be needed to follow up with patients. Make sure that all discarded papers containing any kind of patient information be shredded.
- Must have the ability to answer numerous calls in a timely but professional manner and transfer calls as needed to pagers and to other locations.
- Post in Intergy charges and labs requested by providers.
- Other duties as assigned.
