The Urology Group is searching for a Patient Navigation Support Specialist to work full time, 40 hours /week , Monday-Friday in our Norwood office. 

Duties: 

• Oversee the patient funding list. Includes enrolling patients into funds, looking for additional funds for patient as needed, and updating funding in Intregra and Allscripts
• Oversee daily fax folder, includes moving faxes to Intregra and alerting navigator of the fax  
• Assist with getting patients re-enrolled into manufacturer's program for New Year
• Assist with DEXA scan orders, including calling patient to discuss what hospital they would like to have scan completed at, get pre-authorization, get patient scheduled, follow up to scan and upload results into Integra and send to physician for signature  
• Assist in APCAC refills and renewal of prior authorization 
• Assist Navigators with phone calls to patient’s for appointments, blood work need to be drawn, and getting location for PSMA PET scans
• Assist Navigators as needed.
• Administrative duties to support navigation department as assigned

Requirements:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
• Positive attitude
• Excellent communication skills
