About the Role:
Galileo is seeking Hospitalitarians to join our Patient Support Team as we bring healthcare to those who need it most!. We believe that the visit, the consultation, the lab test is only the surface of healthcare, that the really exciting work is how we make the patient feel. How we take care of them, how we help them along their health journey. If you are hyper focused on changing people's lives, of clearing the way as they take control of their health, of creating special and unique experiences that defy people's expectations of what healthcare administration can be - then you belong at Galileo.
Here's what you'll do:
- Seek to understand the patient you are assisting and their unique circumstances. Using this insight to provide unreasonable hospitality and service in the healthcare setting.
- Connect patients with the various Galileo services and teams, including clinical and administrative functions. As needed, this can include completing administrative tasks such as processing insurance authorizations, collecting medical records and more.
- Build strong connections that mean you notice even the small details and continually brainstorm solutions to improve our processes and each patient's experience
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following or equivalent experience:
- Excited to help people day in and out as you guide them along their healthcare journey
- Administrative experience including providing high volume and high quality support in an asynchronous environment
- High touch customer service experience
- Have the ability to work autonomously
- (Preferred) Bilingual in English and Spanish
Compensation Range:
$20-25 per hour based on experience, location, and market dynamics
Physical Requirements:
Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without a reasonable accommodation: This is primarily a sedentary position. Physical requirements may include lifting up to 10 pounds, manual dexterity,near/far visual acuity,keyboarding, the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech, sitting, standing, walking, and screen usage 8 or more hours per day.
