Summary:
- This position is a back up for business office functions, providing work coverage for the various operational work units in the RCBS organization.
- This includes billing, collections, reimbursement validation, cash posting, mail handling, scanning, sorting, assembly, copying, faxing, and data entry functions.
- In addition, this position provides training to Associates on RCBS processes as required by the Manager to support new and existing Associates. Responsibilities
- Provides back up coverage and support for various positions within RCBS as assigned by the manager
- Provides coaching and mentoring for associates on transactional processes assigned by the manager

- HS Diploma or equivalency required.
- Post HS education preferred.
- Prefer minimum of 2 years' experience with insurance billing, collections, payment, and reimbursement verification and/or refunds
- Professional and effective written and verbal communication required.
- Provides back up coverage and support for various positions within RCBS as assigned by the manager Orientation billable at 70% of the bill rate up to the first 36 hours
- Experience working within a multi-facility hospital business office environment preferred.
- College education, previous Insurance Company claims experience and/or health care billing trade school education may be considered in lieu of formal hospital experience.
- Experience working with inpatient and outpatient billing requirements of UB-04 and HCFA 1500 billing forms preferred.
