Our oral surgery practice is looking for a motivated professional to join our front desk team in our Parkersburg office!
This is a full-time, hourly (non-exempt) position.
Location: 2801 Dudley Avenue, Parkersburg, WV 26101
Hours: Monday - Wednesday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm, and Friday 7:30am - 2:00pm. No Evenings or Weekends!

You are an individual who has developed strong organizational skills and attention to detail and you have learned how to multi-task without losing your cool
With your well-groomed appearance and positive attitude, you work well in a close team environment.
Your excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with your superior customer service skills, make you an asset to any team.
You have experience in dental/medical insurance verification.
What you will do:
Answering phones and field billing related questions
Schedule patients
Process insurance claims daily including posting payments
Submit narrative or necessary materials when requested by insurance company
Proactively research and investigate unusual benefits or network discrepancies
Maintain timely reimbursement of all claims
Review subscriber information for accuracy prior to claims submission
Attach necessary x-rays, narrative, and anesthesia records prior to submission
Submission of electronic claims daily
Retrieve clearing house report daily and resend any necessary claims
Process patient refunds
Send and monitor patient balance statements
Monitor patient balances and patient information
Monitor aged accounts receivable
Other duties as assigned
