- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Provide assistance to patients with mobility and transfers
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist in the preparation and transportation of patients for surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
- Previous experience as a Patient Care Technician or similar role is a plus
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
