The essential functions of this position includes; assisting patients with activities of daily living; obtaining and recording vital signs, weights and heights; assisting patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities; performing post mortem care; measuring and recording I & O; performing EKG's, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring; observing and reporting changes in patients’ condition to the RN; maintaining phlebotomy equipment and inventory and all other duties as assigned. Ensure patient needs and expectations are met in a timely manner.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the Care Center.
- Current HCP BLS preferred; required within 3 months of hire
- 6 months prior healthcare experience with Patient Care experience. (preferred)
