SalaryLake Granbury Medical Center's Patient Care Tech performs various direct Patient Care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Our Patient Care techs also assist patients in dressing or undressing, bathing, or eating. Patient care techs collect non-invasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs but does not start or administer intravenous fluids. Patient care techs aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed, doucment patient interactions as needed. Our Patient Care techs are expected to rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while performing a variety of tasks and working under general supervision.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: No experience necessary.
Certifications: Certification from an accredited nursing assistant program preferred
