SalaryPerforms various direct Patient Care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists patients in dressing or undressing, bathing, or eating. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs but does not start or administer intravenous fluids. Aids physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed. Documents patient interactions as needed. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. High school diploma or equivalent. No experience necessary.
Additionally, this position will function as a ED Clerk and perform the following tasks.
1. Register patients in Pulse and MedHost
2. Ask for ID and scan it
3. Have patient complete the quick reg triage form
4. Obtain signatures on the consents
5. Answer telephone (after hours switchboard)
6. Work the emails that update account status
7. Admit baby and L&D accounts
8. Register OP accounts (after hours)
