We have an immediate opening for a Patient Care Tech to support our Spine & Joint Clinic in Flowood.
SHIFT:
- Full Time
- Monday - Friday
- 8am - 5pm
BASIC FUNCTION:
- Responsible for providing direct care to an assigned group of patients
- Seeks and uses information from nurses concerning assigned patients needs and conditions and reports findings to the RN or LPN
- Assists nursing staff by checking in patients, pulling charts for nursing needs, transporting patients, stocking supplies, cleaning rooms, etc
- Assist Office Personnel by answering multi line phones, putting charts together, pull and send medical records, filing dictation, charts, reports, etc.
- Utilizes oral and written communication in a timely, appropriate and relevant manner to facilitate work operations
- Stocks patients rooms, stocks procedure rooms with appropriate supplies; and operates equipment safely and according to manufacturer/clinic guidelines
- Cleans Patient Care equipment and supplies between each patient
- Maintains a neat and clean environment in clinic rooms, front office and equipment at all times.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous hospital or clinic experience preferred
