Patient Care Representative

PART TIME/CONTRACT

Seeking a positive and motivated part time Patient Care Representative to join our dynamic and award-winning team. DJO Global is a major US medical device company. This is a 1099 opportunity.

This position will assist DJO Global to deliver a Bone Growth Stimulator to a patient’s home. You will be delivering the bone stimulator after the patient is discharged from the hospital. Average time spent with the patient is approximately 15 minutes to educate and show correct placement. The candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, a drive for results, and service orientation to help patients and clients. Must have reliable transportation. No overnight travel is required. The qualified candidate will receive training by a Representative as well as a short DJO Global Corporate online training.

Job Description:

· Provide world class customer service to our patients.

· Effectively educate patients on their therapy and appropriately fit patients for their device at patients’ home.

· Educate patients on their insurance benefits.

· Complete and deliver patient agreement documentation.

Job Requirements:

· Associate Degree required.

· "Can do” attitude and warm, collaborative personality.

· Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.

· Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

· Strong organizational skills and detail-orientation.

· Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Travel and Other Requirements:

· Travel required.

· Overnight travel is not required.

· Lifting capacity approximately 20 - 30 pounds.

· Office deskwork requiring sitting, walking, using phone and computer.

· A valid driver's license and proof of insurance is required.

· A background check will be done.

Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
