Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, including managing correspondence and scheduling meetings
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
