Patient Coordinator
Duties:
- Coordinate patient appointments and schedules
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Assist with patient registration and intake process
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals as needed
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Process medical billing and insurance claims
- Familiarity with coding systems such as DRG, ICD-10, and ICD-9
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless Patient Care
