Patient Care Associate (CNA), Surgical Unit, Per Diem

White 7 is a twenty-seven-bed adult inpatient unit. Patients on this unit are general surgical (mostly major abdominal procedures) and multi- trauma patients. It is a fast paced, exciting environment where the interventions are cutting edge and the patients come from all over the globe for the specialty care our nursing and physician staff provide.

 Certification as a Nursing Assistant or EMT at time of hire OR

 Enrolled in a certification program to become a Nursing Assistant or EMT at time of hire OR

 Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program

 Enrolled in a nursing or pre-med undergraduate program with at least one semester of Patient Care rotations complete at time of hire OR

 Successful completion of the Laboure College PCT program
