About the Role:
We seek a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Advocacy & Event Planning Coordinator. This is a part-time, remote position where you will be responsible for planning and executing five advocacy events annually and working diligently to develop our patient/caregiver database.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute five key advocacy events per year, ensuring they run smoothly and achieve their objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, donors, sponsors, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase patient engagement and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create event materials for patients.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of advocacy initiatives and events.
- Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Travel to five events nationwide is required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of planning and managing successful events.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using digital tools and platforms for remote work.
- A passion for Patient Advocacy and a commitment to improving access to patient care and treatment
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Planning, public relations, health administration, social work, or related field is preferred.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
