SalaryPOSITION OVERVIEW:
Collections of Accounts Receivables, Provide customer service to payers, providers and patients with questions on their accounts via web, phone, in person, and by mail. Refiling of insurance, assisting in coding issues, balancing accounts, printing ledgers, refunding patients, updating insurance and address information. Works Denials and underpayments. To call insurance companies, payers, and/or patients for payment on unpaid claims. To ensure the maximum collection effects by organizing, and prioritizing daily workloads, providing required documentation and minimizing external delays. Other duties as assigned. Receives direction from: Great Falls Clinic Business Office Directors or leadership.
SHIFT: Full time. Days with Call.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in Clinic collections and billing. Minimum two years clinic collections or healthcare business office experience, preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
AAHAM Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS), preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Read, write and speak fluent English. Basic accounting, intermediate computer and office equipment knowledge. Medical terminology & coding knowledge helpful. Knowledge of payer requirements and programs which the patient may be eligible. Perform repetitive processes with speed and accuracy. Strong interpersonal relations and customer service skills. Basic typing and 10 Key, problem solving. Prioritized time management.
