We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Account Specialist to join our growing billing team!

Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends
100% REMOTE - after one month of hands-on training.
Prior experience in a medical/collections/customer service setting is preferred.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Work and maintain all collection accounts
- Collaborate with current collection agency to ensure accurate turn overs and accounts sent back
- Maintain all credit cards on file for patient payments
- Serve as patient liaison for financial matters
- Work patient cases for payment plans, bad debt, and deceased patients in a timely manner
- Send monthly collection reports to Revenue Cycle Management Director.
- Assist with the missed payment plan report, monthly
- Follow up on rejected claims, assisting with patient billing questions.

- Maintain a positive attitude with patients and co-workers under all conditions
- Sustain excellent attendance and avoid excessive absences and/or tardiness
