Envision Radiology is looking to add a Patient Access Workforce Specialist to the team!
Monday - Friday - business operating hours. | Position Pay Range $57,720 - $72,150
Open to AL, AZ, CO, FL, ID, LA, MO, NE, NC, OK, TX, UT, VA, WA & WI Markets. Must be able to work business hours in either Central or Mountain time zones.
Summary/Objective:
The Patient Access Workforce Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Patient Access teams through strategic workforce planning, scheduling, and the continuous improvement of phone platforms and reporting systems. The PA Workforce Specialist leads efforts to optimize call performance, enhance patient satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of our healthcare services. The PA Workforce Specialist will have a dedicated focus across all Patient Access functions including but not limited to: Scheduling, Centralized Services, Data Entry and Benefits. This position will be critical in supporting and ensuring the success of company-wide initiatives and the acceptance of change throughout the organization. The PA Workforce Specialist will work closely with Patient Access Leadership to ensure optimal performance of all teams.
Essential Functions
1. Oversee the maintenance and improvement of phone platforms utilized by Patient Access teams.
2. Develop, create, and update live and historical reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure accurate performance monitoring.
3. Implement administrative tasks related to phone systems, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
4. Develop and execute workforce strategies to align with Patient Access goals and optimize staffing levels based on call volume and patient needs.
5. Foster open communication between Patient Access teams, third parties and other relevant departments.
6. Collaborate with department heads to address workforce-related issues and implement effective solutions.
7. Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in call center operations.
8. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in Patient Access services.
9. Outline proposed recommendations to improve identified gaps and process inefficiencies.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience as a Workforce Manager in a call center environment preferred.
- Proficient in phone platforms and reporting tools specific to call center operations.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions regarding workforce planning and call center performance.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly, concisely, and with empathy, particularly when interacting with patients or addressing team concerns.
- Proficiency in managing and leading change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and employee engagement during transitions.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately and excel in a very fast- paced team environment
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent education, training and experience
