SalaryPrivate medical office seeking an experienced front office/Patient Access assistant. The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include but not limited to: greeting patients upon arrival, answering multi-line phones, processing payments for co-pays and pending balances, schedule and reschedule appointments, diagnostic testing and updating patient's demographic info.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
- Minimum 2 yrs. experience working in medical office/hospital
- Experience and knowledge in insurance pre-certification and authorizations
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
