Pathology Transcriptionist/Secretary (Part-Time/24 Hours Per Week)

General Summary of Position
MedStar St. Mary's Hospital has an opportunity for a Pathology Transcriptionist/Secretary to join their team on a part-time basis (24 hours per week). Greets, assists, and directs visitors, physicians, patients, and other hospital clients. Transcribes histopathology reports, answers telephone calls and takes messages for management and staff. Handles incoming mail. Maintains a calendar and schedule of meetings, reports, and other time dependent activities of the Medical Chief, Dept. of Pathology, the Medical Director of Laboratories and the Director of Laboratory Services. Perform duties of Pathology Secretary when necessary.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
