As a Pathology Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting pathologists in the examination and analysis of tissue samples. Your expertise in laboratory techniques and knowledge of anatomy and physiology will be crucial in providing accurate and timely results.

```Responsibilities:```
- Assist pathologists in the examination and dissection of surgical specimens
- Prepare tissue samples for analysis, including embedding, cutting, staining, and mounting
- Perform laboratory procedures such as phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and procedures performed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper specimen handling and processing
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Conduct research laboratory experiments as directed by pathologists

```Requirements:```
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, medical laboratory science)
- Certification as a Pathology Assistant preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures
- Experience working in a clinical or research laboratory setting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $2,600.00 - $2,817.00 per week
