THE TEAM
Our client, an AmLaw 25 firm, seeks an experienced Patent Litigation Attorney to join their Intellectual Property (IP) practice as a Business Development Manager. This team reports to the Co-CMO of the firm, who left the practice of law years ago to transition into Big Law Business Development. She is a powerhouse female leader who sees the value in transforming practicing attorneys into Business Development professionals.
THE ROLE
This position is poised for a Patent Litigation Associate or Attorney interested in exploring a non-practicing role. A major benefit of this opportunity includes the ability to do impactful, sophisticated work alongside the attorneys, while eliminating the stresses of billable requirements and late nights.
Reporting to the Co-CMO, this Business Development Manager will benefit from fabulous mentorship and professional development opportunities that will further elevate your career trajectory. This is a highly visible and client-facing role.
The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Patent Litigation and Business Development to lead key initiatives and collaborate closely with practice leaders. This is an exceptional chance to drive the execution of business plans, elevate client relationships, and play an active role in the success of pitches, RFPs, and other strategic activities.

Based in New York (preferred), Washington, D.C., Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, or Los Angeles
COMPENSATION
The salary range is $170-240k DOE.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Juris Doctor
- 5-7 years in Patent Litigation
- 2+ years of team management experience preferred
