Advanced experience of a pastry/baking operation within the hotel. Practice the importance of producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. Person has basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, cost control, basic communication and leadership skills and computer skills.

Qualifications
Ability to effectively communicate in a fast-paced environment
3 years of previous pastry experience leading a team in a high volume culinary operation Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week
