- Assisting in preparing all bread production and deesert prep.
- Preparing all foods as directed by the head pastry chef and company standards.
- Plating and garnishing meal items in accordance with the instructions provided by the pastry chef.
- Collaborating with chefs to ensure that all given tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that pastry station is adequately stocked with the necessary ingredients and equipment.
- Ensuring that all cooking stations and kitchen surfaces are cleaned and disinfected before and after each shift.
- Adhering to standard food rotation practices to reduce food wastage and minimize the risk of contamination.
- Assessing the quality of delivered food supplies to ensure that it meets restaurant standards.
- Minimum 1-year pastry experience required
- Active Food Handlers certificate required
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations
- Ability to work as part of a team and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
