We serve Hawaii Regional Cuisine which utilizes local products, support local farmers as much as possible, and uses modern cooking techniques. Here at 53 By the Sea, we strive to provide an elevated level of service through our core values and ensure that each guest receives authentic hospitality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned.

• Prepare menu items according to daily reservations, following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by restaurant management.

• Follow all health code standards and protocol. Keeps area clean and well-stocked; keeps equipment in proper working order.

• Ensures timely preparation of food for the restaurant and wedding guests.

• Follow opening and closing procedures.

• Assist other stations as needed.

• Other duties as assigned by the managers and supervisors.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Culinary school certificate or degree preferred but not required
• 1 – 2 years of experience in a fast-paced fine-dining kitchen

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proper patisserie skills and techniques
• Excellent communications skills
• Servsafe certification preferred but not required
• TB Clearance
