Pastry Cook

Duties:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads according to recipes and quality standards.
- Decorate pastries using various techniques to create visually appealing presentations.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
- Assist with meal preparation for special events or catering orders.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely delivery of baked goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and pastry tools.
- Follow recipes accurately, adjusting measurements as needed to achieve desired results.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any ingredient needs to the supervisor.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in the food industry.
- Knowledge of pastry techniques, including dough preparation, baking, and decorating.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other kitchen staff members.
- Basic knife skills for ingredient preparation.
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required.
