Position: Pastry Chef
Employment Type: Part-Time (with Full-Time hours during summer and part-time during winter/off-season)
Location: Arcola Country Club, Paramus, New Jersey
Salary: $18 - $25 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Craft and present a diverse range of delectable pastries, desserts, and baked goods that exceed our members' expectations.
• Innovate and refine pastry recipes while ensuring consistency and quality in every creation.
• Manage inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies to uphold freshness and availability.
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team to coordinate pastry offerings with seasonal menus and special events.
• Maintain strict adherence to health and safety standards in the pastry kitchen.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role, preferably in a high-volume setting.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification from an accredited institution.
• Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to foster a collaborative kitchen environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
