Carmella's Charleston is a high volume production kitchen, seeking a pastry professional to work with a great team of highly motivated, talented individuals. Job requirements include a great attitude, awesome work ethic, and care for the highest quality product available in the Charleston market.
The Pastry Assistant position is the primary support position for kitchen operations. This position is best suited for new pastry professionals who want exposure to kitchen operations while supporting daily activities. Job duties include dishwashing, stocking, preparation of savory items, and some guided preparation of sweet menu items.
Our kitchen emphasizes volume production rather than plated desserts. Professionals seeking employment with us should anticipate working in that kind of environment.
