Job Summary:


AgriVision Equipment is seeking a high-energy, positive individual who brings the desire to learn and grow into a long-term successful career in the ag equipment industry. Previous experience and knowledge of large agriculture equipment or commercial/turf equipment is welcomed but not required. Parts Sales Specialists play a vital role in establishing a positive first impression to our customers. This position is responsible for performing a variety of in and out of store customer service, marketing, promoting, and selling duties.

As a Parts Sales Specialist, you will:


  • Quickly establishes trusting relationships with customers by having excellent knowledge of parts and accessories across all product lines.
  • Demonstrate strong selling skills including the ability to offer alternative solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Displays a strong sense of urgency and ensures timely follow-up to customer needs.
  • Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipting-in of shipments and stocking parts in their proper inventory locations.
  • Assists in creating a visually appealing and professional showroom layout that allows customers to find what they need in a timely manner.
  • Consistently challenges the status quo and communicates innovative ideas and/or solutions to take the department and location to the next level.
  • Utilizes all internal and external software to efficiently and effectively perform day to day duties.
  • Supply Service Technicians with parts necessary to complete their repairs in a timely manner.
  • Participates in all job-related training and development.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge:


  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that relate to customer service and selling skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic Parts Department reports and metrics.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.

  • Work is generally performed in a professional office environment.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the work location.

  • Work may involve long hours and overtime during the peak season, holidays, weekends, and evenings.
  • May be required to rotate on-call responsibilities.

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, walk on unpaved terrain, talk, reach with arms and hands, have good manual dexterity, use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard, handle or feel, hear alarms/telephones/normal speaking voice.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen.
  • May involve climbing ladders, stairs, steps, and traversing catwalk grating, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and kneeling on a frequent basis and working in confined space and manual dexterity required to complete work tasks through safe and proper operation of power and hand tools, and motor vehicles.
  • Moderate physical activity required by moving and positioning objects up to 50 pounds or more occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
