Job Details:
SUMMARY: Team member receives, checks, unloads and issues repair parts and equipment at the storeroom. Team member must perform the functions necessary for the orderly and efficient distribution of parts and equipment for the maintenance department to include cleaning, organizing, performing bin counts, and inventory to include inventory control. Team member will be responsible for efficient and economical inventories.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, college education a plus.
Experience or Knowledge: Must be knowledgeable of the techniques and methods associated with storeroom or supply room activities. 1-year storeroom experience in supply preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk on hard, wet, and slippery surfaces for long periods of time, crouch, squat, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally crawl. Must be able to repetitively lift (occasionally overhead), push, pull, and carry 60 pounds individually and more with assistance. Must be able to continuously and repetitively grasp, reach, pinch, and hold small, medium, and large sized objects frequently. Must be able to work in hot and/or cold, humid, wet, environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Must possess the ability to effectively express facts and ideas in writing and verbally. Bilingual skills preferred.
