Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented New Car Franchised Experienced Parts Manager to join our team. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts. Your role will involve coordinating with suppliers, managing the order management system, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to our automotive repair and service departments.
Responsibilities:
-Develop, Maintain & Grow the WHOLESALE business
- Manage the order management system to track and process parts orders
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure automotive parts and negotiate pricing
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet demand
- Oversee shipping and receiving activities, including inspecting incoming parts for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with the automotive repair and service departments to identify parts needs and ensure timely delivery
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse management procedures to optimize space utilization and streamline operations
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile inventory discrepancies and identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide guidance and support to the parts team, including training on data entry and inventory management systems
Requirements:
- Previous experience in franchised automotive parts management
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and terminology
- Proficient in using order management systems and other relevant software applications
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
